Dr. Janet Hoke
Veterinarian
Dr. Janet Hoke graduated from the University of Georgia, where she received the UpJohn Award in Large Animal Medicine. In 1985, she was named Woman of the Year in Science in West Virginia and received the Young Alumnus Award from Virginia Tech Dairy Science. She has served on the National Board of Directors for three years and was an officer on the Board of Directors for another three years for the Society for Theriogenology (Reproduction).
Dr. Hoke owned her own practice for 25 years in West Virginia, where she mentored many students and new graduates. She sold her practice and moved to Florida, and has worked at Compassion Animal Hospital for over a decade. Her professional interests are in preventative medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
Dr. Hoke lives in Lakeland with her husband, Danny McClellan, on a small farm with their dogs, horses, and chickens. Their family produces rodeos, and they enjoy traveling to Maine several times a year, where they hike, kayak, and bike.

Dr. Jessica Bowling
Veterinarian
Dr. Bowling’s hobbies include camping, hiking, fishing, scuba diving, playing video games, and crocheting. She currently has a dog, two cats, fish, and a flock of chickens. She hopes to one day add a horse and other farm animals to the mix.
